The NFL Draft is here and there are several former Longhorns who are hoping to hear their name called in Pittsburgh.

After a long build up and months of speculation, the NFL Draft is finally here. Several former Longhorns will continue their football journeys and have their NFL dreams realized during the three-day stint in Pittsburgh.

With many prospects awaiting their selections, here is a list of Texas standouts that are eligible to added to these professional roster and worth keeping an eye on throughout the weekend.

Getting started on the defensive side of the ball, with one of the Longhorns highest-rated prospects.

Anthony Hill Jr. (LB)

Anthony Hill Jr. has been a mainstay of the Texas defense since arriving in Austin in 2023. The three-year starter has drawn the eyes of several NFL teams looking to shore up their linebacker corps. Hill is currently projected as a Day 2 pick, somewhere between the second or third round, which could keep him in-state with the Dallas Cowboys.

Malik Muhammad (CB)

Staying with defensive stars, Longhorns corner Malik Muhammad is expected to punch his ticket to the NFL this weekend. An in-state talent from South Oak Cliff, Muhammad racked up just shy of 100 tackles and hawked a trio of passes for good measure. He is currently tabbed to head off the board around the second to fourth round, similar to his former teammate, Hill Jr.

Jack Endries (TE)

The first offensive prospect for Texas, Endries spent only one of his four seasons in Austin, but made the most of his time in the burnt orange. He finished the year with 33 catches for around 350 yards and three touchdowns. Much like all his aforementioned fellow Longhorns, current projections slot Endries into the third to fifth rounds.

Michael Taaffe (DB/S)

Another stellar defensive back last season for the Longhorns, Michael Taaffe earned All-American and All-SEC honors while starring at the safety position. He tallied seven interceptions and close to 225 tackles across his career. Despite his collegiate accolades, most analysts have Taaffe being chosen during Day 3.

Trey Moore (LB)

More defense for the Longhorns, as Trey Moore looks to head to the NFL after two seasons with Texas at linebacker. His size has been credited as a potential drawback and has led to speculation about a possible position change. However, Moore is still predicted to be a late-round selection.

DJ Campbell (OL)

Finally back to the offense, DJ Campbell look to add depth along the line to desiring squads. He is tabbed as another late-round grab and is assumed to serve in a back-up role early in his career.

Jaylon Guilbeau (DB)

The final Longhorn expected to be taken in the NFL Draft is Jaylon Guilbeau. He spent four seasons in the burnt orange and was a rotational piece throughout the secondary. Guilbeau has range to offer any interested team and is thought to be another late-round pick up.

There are a few other Longhorns that are in the draft pool but are expected to go undrafted. These include edge rusher Ethan Burke, offensive lineman Cole Hutson, quarterback Matthew Caldwell and defensive linemen Cole Brevard and Travis Shaw.

Even if they do go undrafted, they'll have a chance to earn their way onto a squad throughout the rest of the offseason.

No matter when or where they go, there are several Longhorns that appear to be gearing up to showcase their talents on Sundays next season.
