Texas standouts Sam Cozart, Anthony Pack Jr. and Dylan Volantis earned USA Baseball Collegiate National Team Training Camp invites.
Texas baseball just put three more names on the national radar.
Sam Cozart, Anthony Pack Jr. and Dylan Volantis have been invited to the 2026 USA Baseball Collegiate National Team Training Camp, giving the No. 5 Longhorns another major flex in a season already loaded with star power.

The camp features 56 of the nation’s top non-draft eligible college players and will help determine the final Collegiate National Team roster.
That’s a big deal. And Texas didn’t sneak anybody in. These three have earned it.
Cozart has been a nightmare out of the bullpen. The 6-foot-6, 260-pound freshman right-hander is 6-0 with a 1.59 ERA and eight saves across 20 appearances. He’s struck out 66 hitters in 45 1/3 innings while allowing opponents to hit just .112.
His 0.64 WHIP leads Division I pitchers with at least 45 innings, and his SEC numbers were even nastier: 1.01 ERA, 0.64 WHIP and seven saves in league play.
Pack has been just as electric at the plate.
The freshman outfielder hit .360 with a .479 on-base percentage, .559 slugging percentage, seven home runs, 45 RBI and 20 stolen bases during the regular season. That stolen-base total is the most by a Texas freshman since Drew Stubbs swiped 28 in 2004.
In SEC play, Pack hit .400 with a .511 OBP, becoming the first SEC freshman to hit .400 in conference action since Jake Mangum in 2016.
Then there’s Volantis, who has looked like a true ace.
The sophomore left-hander is 8-1 with a 2.05 ERA, ranking first in the SEC and sixth nationally. He has 105 strikeouts over 74 2/3 innings and has held hitters to a .188 average. He’s also a Golden Spikes Award semifinalist, which tells you exactly how loud his season has been.

The camp opens with exhibition games against Appalachian League teams before a Stars vs. Stripes series. The final roster will compete in Taiwan at the inaugural World Collegiate Baseball Championship.
Texas has a long USA Baseball history, from Huston Street to Drew Stubbs to Max Belyeu.
Now Cozart, Pack and Volantis get their shot.
