Texas Men's Basketball formally introduced a haul of 10 new faces coming to the 2026-27 team.
Sean Miller attacked the transfer portal and high school recruiting circuit unlike any other coach taking over a program.
The Texas Longhorns coach will build off his Sweet 16 debut in Austin with one of the nation's best transfer classes and a pair of McDonald's All-Americans.
The Horns' latest roster addition comes in the form of 6-2 Lithuanian guard Mantas Laurencikas, who joins the program as a true freshman despite having high-level international experience.
Laurencikas was recently promoted to play in the French ProA U21 league for AS Monaco Basket, a part of the top league in the French system, Betclic Elite. He signed his Athletic Scholarship Agreement (ASA), which gives him full collegiate eligibility with Texas, as announced by the school this week.
Laurencikas averaged 13.0 points, 4.6 rebounds and 4.2 assists while shooting over 45 percent from the field this season.
He joins Texas as one of the 10 newcomers to Miller's roster for a stacked class that builds completes the roster under his vision.
The high school class is headlined by 5-star combo guard Austin Goosby and 4-star guard Bo Ogden.
The 6-foot-5 Goosby, who is the younger brother of Texas Football's left tackle Trevor Goosby, is ranked as the No. 1 player in the state and is a top-20 recruit in the nation.
"There aren’t many players, or certainly guards, in the country who can match the sheer tools of Austin Goosby," said scout Adam Finkelstein. "He’s a bouncy vertical athlete, a lay-up maker with his dominant right hand, has soft, natural hands, and touch. His best attribute though, may be his feel for the game. He cuts well, passes well, and instinctively knows how to play in ways that allow him to make quick and efficient decisions with the basketball."
The hometown kid, Ogden, is a product of Austin Westlake and was named TABC "Mr. Basketball" in the state of Texas for his senior season with the Chaps. The sharp-shooting wing joined his father, Chris Ogden, to become the first father-son duo to win the award in Texas high school basketball history.
Miller's high school class - which ranks as the No. 6 class in the country by 247Sports - also includes 4-star guard Joe Sterling and 6-10 center Coleman Elkins.
For transfers, Texas ranks as the No. 3 portal haul in the 2026 cycle with high-profile additions like David Punch, Isaiah Johnson, Mikey Lewis, and Amari Evans bringing a strong blend of interior force and excellent two-way guard play.
Texas also returns Lithuanian big man Matas Vokietaitis as a key front court presence with NCAA tournament experience.
With a loaded class of newcomers, Sean Miller's Longhorns are poised to make noise in the SEC and beyond during the 2026-27 season.
