Texas Tech women's basketball continues its dominant run with an 82-51 road blowout over Washington State, improving to 11-0 with stifling defense and backcourt brilliance.

The Texas Tech Lady Raiders are officially rolling.

On Friday night, they extended their undefeated start to 11-0 with an emphatic 82-51 road win over Washington State in Pullman. It marked the fifth straight win by at least 20 points, as head coach Krista Gerlich's squad continues to make a national statement.

From the opening tip, Texas Tech imposed its identity ... relentless defense and balanced offense.

The Lady Raiders forced turnover after turnover with suffocating half-court pressure, turning Washington State's mistakes into fast-break points and early momentum.

The Cougars only led for the first two minutes before Texas Tech took control with a dominant run to close the first quarter.

By halftime, the outcome already felt inevitable, as the Red Raiders' defense smothered Washington State's rhythm and the offense clicked into gear.

Tech led by double digits at the break and never looked back.

The backcourt duo of Snudda Collins and Bailey Maupin was sensational. Collins was a model of perfection, going 7-for-7 from the field and finishing with 19 points, while Maupin added 19 of her own, including four 3-pointers and four steals. Both guards were critical in keeping the tempo high and the defensive intensity relentless.

Even as Jalynn Bristow fouled out late in the game in her second such exit this season, the team's control never slipped. The third quarter tested Texas Tech's composure when the Cougars posted their best offensive stretch of the night,

But the Lady Raiders answered immediately with 26 points of their own, led by 13 from Maupin in that period alone.

In the final quarter, the scoring slowed, but the outcome never wavered. The Lady Raiders coasted to another blowout win, once again holding an opponent under 40 percent shooting - a trend they've maintained all season long.

Now at 11-0, Texas Tech will aim to continue its dominant start when it faces Abilene Christian on Sunday in Odessa. With defense like this and backcourt stars firing, the Lady Raiders are proving they’re a team to watch ... and maybe fear in 2026.
