Texas Tech baseball will turn the clock back this weekend, welcoming former Red Raiders from across five decades for the 2026 Alumni Game at Dan Law Field.
Head coach Tim Tadlock and the program have assembled a roster that blends tradition, star power, and nostalgia, creating one of the most wide-ranging alumni showcases the program has hosted.
First pitch is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. CT Saturday, with the game airing live on ESPN+. Fans unable to attend in person can also follow along through live stats and social coverage provided by Texas Tech Athletics.
What makes this year’s event special is the scope.
Alumni from the 1980s through the 2020s will take the field, offering a rare snapshot of how the program has evolved over generations. Among the most recognizable names are Jace Jung and Josh Jung, whose careers at Texas Tech helped elevate the Red Raiders to national prominence in recent seasons.
They’ll be joined by familiar fan favorites such as Dru Baker, Cal Conley, Steven Smith, and Brian Klein, each representing different eras of Red Raider baseball.
The alumni roster also features several former Tech players who have continued their careers in professional baseball.
Fans will see pitchers currently affiliated with MLB organizations, including arms tied to the Cardinals, Rangers, Rays, Phillies, Guardians, Athletics, and Rockies. That professional presence underscores the program’s reputation for developing talent at the next level.
Adding to the experience, several former Red Raiders will serve in coaching roles for the alumni side. Former Major Leaguers and program legends will be back in uniform, reinforcing the sense that Saturday is about more than just a game - it’s about community.
After the final out, fans will have the chance to meet players up close.
Members of the 2026 Texas Tech roster, along with select alumni, will participate in an autograph session inside the Texas Tech Baseball Indoor Facility. Fans will be guided from the concourse into the batting cages, where the signings will take place.
Tickets are required for entry and remain available through the Texas Tech Ticket Office. Season ticket holders will receive complimentary access to their assigned seats, delivered digitally ahead of game day.
For Red Raider fans, this alumni game offers a unique blend of past and present ... an afternoon to celebrate program history, reconnect with familiar faces, and build excitement for the season ahead.
In Lubbock, Saturday won’t just be baseball. It’ll be a reunion.
