Texas Tech continues its tear on the pitch, as the Red Raiders out-dueled Oklahoma State 3-0 in Stillwater for its 17-straight result without suffering a loss.
LUBBOCK -- No. 12/14 Texas Tech rolled into Stillwater on Thursday and shutout Oklahoma State 3-0 in another statement win for the Red Raiders.
In the showdown between Big 12 rivals, Texas Tech was quick on the draw.
The Red Raiders netted two goals within the first eight minutes of the match to surge ahead to a 2-0 advantage.
Those early scores were courtesy of Raleigh Greason, off the assist from Kylie Bahr, and Eleanor Hays, who got her goal unassisted.
But the early flurry was not done for Texas Tech, as leading scorer Taylor Zrodjewski got in on the action by firing a deep shot that sailed past Oklahoma State's goalie Avery Bass.
For Zrodjewski, the goal did not just cushion the lead for Texas Tech, it extended her count to eight on the year, which is double the next closest Red Raider in Kaitlyn Giametta.
That strike put the Red Raiders up 3-0 before the 20-minute mark of the match and proved to the final score after Texas Tech was able to lock down the Cowgirls throughout the remaining time.
It was the second-straight shutout match for Texas Tech and marked the third time in four outings the Red Raiders did not concede a goal.
In the first leg of a three-game road stretch that takes them across the country, Texas Tech was unfazed and extended its unbeaten streak to 17 matches.
The last time the Red Raiders were bested outside of postseason play was nearly an entire year ago against No. 22/7 Colorado in Boulder on Oct. 23, 2025.
Not only is Texas Tech not losing, the Red Raiders are racking up wins, as the victory over the Cowgirls marked the fourth straight for the team.
That hot streak has sent Texas Tech to the peak of the Big 12 with 13 points to sit just ahead of West Virginia, Baylor, Kansas and BYU, which all have 10 to their names.
The Red Raiders will take on one of those teams from that cluster soon, as the finale to their road trip takes them to Provo to take on the Cougars.
Before that matchup, Texas Tech will return to the Lone Star State to meet up with TCU in Fort Worth on Sunday afternoon.
The Horned Frogs are in a rough patch of their season and have failed to live up to expectations after a deep run in the NCAA College Cup last year, with a record of 5-5-1.
Texas Tech seeks to take advantage of this slump and earn its first-ever win in Fort Worth when it takes on TCU at 1 p.m. CT on Sunday, Oct. 11.
