No. 12 Texas Tech puts its 16-match unbeaten streak on the line Thursday at Oklahoma State as the Red Raiders begin a demanding three-game Big 12 road trip.

Texas Tech women's soccer hasn't lost a match in nearly a year, but the Red Raiders are about to face one of their toughest stretches of the season.

No. 12 Texas Tech (7-0-4, 3-0-1 Big 12) travels to Oklahoma State on Thursday night, carrying a remarkable 16-match unbeaten streak into a critical three-game road trip that could help determine the Big 12 championship race.

The Red Raiders haven't suffered a defeat since October 23, 2025, posting nine victories and seven draws during that stretch. It's the longest active unbeaten streak among Power Four programs and one of the best nationally.

But maintaining that momentum away from Lubbock won't be easy.

Oklahoma State (5-4-3, 1-2-1 Big 12) awaits Thursday before Texas Tech visits TCU on Sunday and No. 20 BYU on October 16.

The Red Raiders enter Stillwater following an impressive 2-0 victory over Arizona State that showcased their combination of offensive pressure and defensive discipline.

Freshman Lauren Alvarez scored her first collegiate goal against the Sun Devils, while Kaitlyn Giametta converted a second-half penalty kick to secure the victory.

Goalkeeper Addie Todd delivered four saves for her sixth shutout of the season, continuing to establish herself as one of the conference's most dependable players.

Offensively, Taylor Zdrojewski remains Texas Tech's biggest threat.

The veteran striker has seven goals this season, including three game-winners. Her 33 career goals leave her just four away from matching Ashleigh Williams for fourth place in program history.

And when the Red Raiders score multiple goals, opponents rarely stand a chance.

Texas Tech owns an astonishing 53-0-2 record when scoring at least twice since the beginning of the 2022 season.

The program has also dominated Oklahoma State recently, winning three consecutive meetings by a combined 7-0 margin, including last season's 4-0 shutout.

Still, the Cowgirls have been difficult to beat at Neal Patterson Stadium, where they own a 5-1-3 record this season.

For Texas Tech, Thursday isn't simply about extending an unbeaten streak. It's about proving this team can maintain its championship form through a demanding road schedule.

And with the Red Raiders chasing another Big 12 title, every result matters.
