The former Auburn and UCF standout takes his high-scoring prowess to South Florida. Hall must now capitalize on Summer League minutes to secure a permanent roster spot in Miami.
UCF is well represented in the 2026 NBA draft class, as former Knights forward Keyshawn Hall joined the Miami Heat on an Exhibit 10 contract.
An Exhibit 10 contract guarantees Hall a spot on Miami's Summer League, training camp and preseason rosters. He'll have until mid-October to impress the Heat's coaching staff and front office in order to stay with the organization.
Hall will make his debut in a Heat uniform on July 10 in the Las Vegas Summer League. Miami faces off against the Brayden Burries (No. 10), Nate Ament (No. 13) and the Milwaukee Bucks.
The Heat then have a back-to-back against their in-state rival, the Orlando Magic, on July 11. They play the Cleveland Cavaliers on July 13 and end their four-game slate against the Toronto Raptors on July 16.
The former UCF forward should receive significant playing time throughout July as an Exhibit 10 contract. Hall can display his scoring and rebounding prowess on the court.
He spent last season playing for the Auburn Tigers in the SEC, and averaged 19.3 points and 7.1 rebounds. His 19.3 points ranked fifth in the conference, two places below Philadelphia 76ers guard Labaron Philon and four places below Sacramento Kings guard Darius Acuff Jr.
Grabbing 7.1 rebounds also ranked eighth in the SEC, which is impressive for a 6-foot-6 forward. Hall's performance in his senior campaign with the Tigers is no surprise, as he put up similar numbers in the Big 12.
The Cleveland, Ohio, native played at UCF in the 2024-25 season. He averaged 18.8 points and 7.1 rebounds during his junior year.
UCF's leading scorer led the conference and ranked ninth in rebounding. Hall played all 33 contests for the program and even recorded a 40-point performance against the Arizona Wildcats.
His stellar season earned him All-Big 12 Second Team, named to the Big 12 Newcomer Team and NABC Second Team All-District (Southeast). Hall initially declared for the 2025 NBA Draft, but withdrew and transferred to Auburn for his final collegiate season.
Hall now becomes the fourth former UCF Knight to pursue their NBA dreams throughout the summer. Jaylin Sellers signed a two-way contract with the Chicago Bulls, Themus Fulks and Riley Kugel signed with the Los Angeles Clippers Summer League team.
None of these players will face off against one another in the Las Vegas Summer League, but they are must-see TV for UCF fans. They are representing the Black and Gold well in the NBA.
Miami has a great eye for developing hidden gems through its "Heat Culture." Hall's size, scoring and rebounding fit that mold, and he could carve himself a role on a team that needs to hit on the margins to surround newly-acquired star Giannis Antetokounmpo.
