The Huskies advanced to the NCAA Tournament in 2025 and they'll look to do the same in 2026.

The University of Connecticut men's soccer team officially released its 2026 schedule on Tuesday morning, just one day after announcing that a former star will be suiting up for Canada in this summer's World Cup.

The Huskies will play a challenging schedule full of Northeast powers, but they'll have the benefit of playing much of their schedule at home.

As seen in the graphic below, the Huskies will play 16 regular season games this year, with all but four of them coming at home.

The Huskies will open up the season on Aug. 20 when they host Syracuse, another regional contender. The Big East season will begin on Sept. 18 with a home match against Seton Hall and will conclude on Nov. 6 with another home match against Georgetown.

According to new reports, the UConn men's basketball team has a new assistant coach who will replace Luke Murray on the bench.

Murray, who had been with head coach Dan Hurley at multiple stops, left to become the head coach at Boston College this offseason.

Former Butler coach Mike Pegues is reportedly filling that spot. Pegues has also coached VCU, Delaware, Xavier and Louisville. He worked with Murray at Xavier and Louisville.
