Friday was the last official day for new players to enter the transfer portal, but that doesn't mean that the negotiating for roster additions is done yet. Players who remain in the transfer portal are free to sign whenever, and the University of Connecticut football program took advantage on Sunday, coming to terms with two new defensive backs.
According to reports from On3, UConn has added Moussa Kane, formerly of Duke and CJ Bell, formerly of Iowa.

His brother Sanoussi was a seventh-round draft choice of the Baltimore Ravens in 2024.
