The Huskies offense dominated the Bluejays en route to earning the 21st win of the season.

The UConn men's basketball team moved to 21-1 on the season with an 85-58 drubbing of Creighton on Saturday night in Omaha, Neb. On top of the 21-1 record, the Huskies are now 11-0 inside Big East play. Ranked No. 2 in the nation, they look like national championship contenders and if they can do it, it would be their third title in the last four years.

Freshman Braylon Mullins returned from injury to lead the team in scoring with 16 points on 6-of-13 shooting. He's been the most efficient offensive player in league play this season.

Furthermore, the Huskies offense as a whole made history not seen in the last 30 years with its efficiency, as noted by statistician Katie Sharp.

UConn shooting vs Creighton:

3pt FG - 16/31 (51.6%)

2pt FG - 17/30 (56.7%)

This is the 1st time in at least the last 30 seasons that UConn shot 50% or better on both 2pt and 3pt shots in a game (min. 30 2pt FG and min. 30 3pt FG).

What's also amazing about the Huskies offense is that it was so dynamic without getting the benefit of the free-throw line. UConn earned just seven trips to the charity stripe, going only 3-of-7.

Mullins hit four three-pointers while Solo Ball and Silas Demary Jr. each had three. Jayden Ross and Alex Karaban each had two and Jaylin Stewart and Malachi Smith each had one.

The No. 1-ranked UConn women are back in action on Sunday afternoon when they host No. 15 Tennessee at noon ET. The Volunteers are one of the most storied programs in the women's game, having won eight national championships and producing Hall of Famers like Candace Parker.

Tennessee is the last team to have beaten UConn, nearly one year ago.

Per head coach Geno Auriemma, from our game preview:

“Kind of like we talked about before the Notre Dame game. These are games that fans love, players love to play in,” Auriemma told reporters Saturday. “They’re games that give you an opportunity to compete against somebody that’s not in your league, that was an NCAA tournament team, that plays a different style from another conference. You want to do all of those things before you get to the NCAA Tournament so you can say, 'We’ve seen that.'”

The Huskies women are unbeaten on the campaign, a perfect 22-0. They are averaging 90.2 ppg while allowing just 50.5. They won the national title a season ago.
