

The University of Washington men's basketball team rolled over Southern California 91-72 on Wednesday night at Alaska Airlines Arena in Seattle, Wash.
With the win, the Huskies are now 15-15 on the season and 7-12 within Big Ten Conference play. With one regular season game to go until the Big Ten Tournament, the Huskies are in a three-way tie for 11th in the league.
Here's what you need to know.
Hannes Steinbach scored 22 points on an efficient 9-of-12 shooting while Zoom Diallo had 26 points on 11-of-19 shooting. Wesley Yates III had 11 and Quimari Peterson had 13.
Though USC entered play in front of Washington in the standings, this outcome was always possible after top scorer Chad Baker-Mazara left the team the other day. He was averaging 18.5 ppg at the age of 26.

--In addition to his 22 points, Steinbach grabbed a whopping 24 rebounds. He helped the Huskies out-rebound the Trojans 46-37.
--Washington shot 48 percent from the floor, but just 23 percent (7-of-30) from three-point range. The Trojans were worse at 21 percent (4-for-19).
--Washington shot 15 free-throws, making 10, while USC shot 25, making 20 (80 percent).
--Washington moved the ball effectively, registering 14 assists vs. USC's only six.
--Alijah Arenas scored 19 points to lead the Trojans. He also had seven rebounds. Ezra Ausar had a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds.
With one game left to play, the Huskies can finish no higher than 11th in the Big Ten standings. They are tied with both USC and Minnesota at 7-12 in the conference.
USC closes out the regular season with ranked UCLA while Minnesota takes on Northwestern, who is below them in the standings.
The Huskies wrap up with Oregon, currently in a tie for 16th place.
If it comes down to a tie between Washington and Minnesota at 8-12 in the league: Washington did beat the Gophers.
Regardless of where the Huskies officially finish, they'll open up Big Ten tourney play on March 11.
