The Huskies released their 12-player roster for the 2026-27 season Friday.
The Washington Huskies women's basketball team could see the ultimate dividends to a years-long rebuild this upcoming season.
The Huskies have progressively improved year-over-year since head coach Tina Langley was hired ahead of the 2021-22 season.
This rebuild has led to back-to-back NCAA tournament berths for Washington the last two seasons. The 2026 tournament run for UW ended in the Round of 32 after a three-point, overtime loss to the Olivia Miles-led TCU Horned Frogs.
Following the near-berth to the Sweet 16, the Huskies improved their roster this offseason. They retained all three players who earned All-Big Ten honors last season: senior guard Sayvia Sellers, junior guard Avery Howell and sophomore forward Brynn McGaughy.
Washington also made several key additions via the transfer portal, earned a commitment from four-star Class of 2026 guard Amayah Garcia and a commitment from Hungarian guard Petra Toman.
