The Washington Huskies football team is currently hosting several of its top targets from the 2027 recruiting class for official visits on campus this weekend in Seattle.

This weekend will mark the first of a string of several weeks in a row where the Huskies will host several potential Class of '27 acquisitions.

Currently, Washington's '27 recruiting class ranks 15th in the country, per 247Sports. That's three spots away from matching the team's 2026 recruiting class for the highest-ranking in program history and four away from exceeding it.

A few commits from the players being courted by the Huskies this weekend will help the '27 class jump over the crop of '26 players. But Washington could also land notable players in the weekends that follow, and one of the players UW is reportedly targeting is set to make a major change pertaining to his high school career.

Per a report from Rivals.com writer Brandon Huffman, four-star wide receiver Zion White will be transferring to Mililani High School in Mililani, Hawaii, back to his native state.

White will be transferring after attending recruiting hotbed IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla., his junior season this past fall.

Several of White's teammates from his first freshman and sophomore years at Punahou High School in Honolulu, including Class of 2028 four-star quarterback Hunter Fujikawa, will be reuniting with the former IMG Academy pass-catcher at Mililani.

White caught 10 passes for 165 yards and two touchdowns in nine games with IMG Academy last fall. He also participated in the Under Armour All-America game in January, where he pulled in a game-high five passes for 63 yards and a touchdown. He also participated in the 2026 Polynesian Bowl.

White is already regarded as one of the best wide receivers in the '27 class. He's ranked as the 161st-best overall player, 22nd-best wide receiver and, with his latest transfer, the second-best player in Hawaii per the 247Sports composite.

White rejoining his former teammates could lead to him being even higher-ranked in the weeks and months leading up to his graduation.

Per his 247Sports page, White is "warm" on the Huskies, the North Carolina Tar Heels and Cal Golden Bears.

According to Rivals.com's prediction model, the Golden Bears have the highest odds to land him at 53.9%.

Washington will host White for an official visit June 19.

Before White heads to the Pacific Northwest, he'll visit North Carolina on June 12 and Cal on June 15.
