Another big wide receiver deal is wrapped up in the NFL. Days after the Atlanta Falcons and wideout Drake London agreed to an extension, the Green Bay Packers are now locking up one of their pass-catchers.
Wide receiver Christian Watson and the Packers have reportedly agreed to a four-year, $110.5 million extension, keeping him in Green Bay through the 2030 season. The deal includes a $31 million signing bonus.

Watson's contract comes in just below the deal that was given to wide receiver Alec Pierce earlier in the offseason by the Indianapolis Colts. Pierce's deal came out to an average annual value of $28.5 million while Watson's comes in at $27.625 million.
Watson's top receiving yards season came in 2024, tallying 620 receiving yards and two receiving touchdowns. Last year, he came just nine yards shy of that yardage total but added six touchdowns in his 10 game appearances.
The Packers lost last year's leading receiver Romeo Doubs (724 receiving yards and six touchdown catches) in free agency as he departed to join the New England Patriots. The Watson extension arrives just in time for the former North Dakota State University wideout to take on a larger role with the team.
Across the league, a number of deals are getting done as more receivers await their potential extensions as well.
