Nicholas Moreano identifies five Chicago Bears players whose stock went up or down in the Week 4 win over the New York Jets.

CHICAGO -- It's been 1,059 days since Tyson Bagent last started a game in the NFL. You have to go back to Nov. 9, 2023 when Bagent was a rookie.

The former undrafted free agent from Shepherd University led his team to a 23-12 win over the New York Jets on Sunday at Soldier Field. On the first offensive snap of the game, Bagent lined up out wide and Veteran Case Keenum handed the ball off to running back D'Andre Swift.

Bagent took over from there, and the Bears' starting offense produced mixed results. The Bears had a promising first drive, moving the ball 93 yards, but were stopped short on the goal line on two separate occasions. Swift failed to pick up a yard on fourth-and-goal from the 1 and the Bears turned the ball over on downs.

Bagent led the offense on two scoring drives in the first half, but was also intercepted in the middle of the field after his pass to Colston Loveland was behind his intended target.

There's plenty to get into following the Bears' second-consecutive win at Soldier Field.

Here are the five players who raised or lowered their stock in Week 4.

Stock Up: Tyson Bagent

Bagent's day started off with some ups and downs. He helped the offense create some explosive gains in the passing game but also had a few passes that were left behind his intended targets. His interception is one example.

Bagent also had some potential interceptions taken away because of Jets' defensive penalties. But Bagent settled into the offense, operated on time for a majority of the snaps and connected with eight different pass catchers throughout the game.

One of his best throws of the day occurred when the Bears were backup up on their own 4-yard line. Bagent connected with Rome Odunze for a 20-yard gain. The pass was perfectly placed near the left sideline and Odunze made a good concentration catch.

Bagent finished the day 25 of 34 for 268 yards and threw one interception.

Stock Up: Kyle Monangai

When Kyle Monangai runs the ball, you should always expect him to finish the play by lowering his shoulder and driving his legs. That's exactly what happened on his 1-yard rushing touchdown towards the end of the first quarter.

The Bears' running back was initially hit short of the line of gain, but Monangai kept his feet moving and spun off the initial tackle to get into the end zone.

Monangai had a 19-yard run on the team's first field goal drive of the game. The second-year running back finished with a game-high 146 yards and two rushing touchdowns on 30 rushing attempts, a career high.

The Bears' running back did go in the blue medical tent late in the fourth quarter and was seen walking off with Bears staff members towards the locker room.

Stock Up: Devin Bush

The Bears' linebacker showed off his versatility in the win over the Jets.

At the start of the third quarter, the Jets were starting to put together their best drive of the game. New York marched down to Chicago's 33-yard line and faced a third-and-4.

Bush came unblocked off of quarterback Geno Smith's blind side and sacked the quarterback for an 8-yard loss to take the Jets out of field goal range.

Bush finished the game with four total tackles, two solo, one sack and a tackle for loss..

Stock Down: D'Andre Swift

Before this season, Swift proved he was sure-handed when carrying the football. In his first two years with the Bears, he has fumbled three times, losing two them.

Through the first four games of the 2026 season, Swift has fumbled twice and lost both of them. He fumbled at the 1-yard in the 9-3 loss to the Minnesota Vikings and lost another fumble against the Jets.

Both those fumbles happened on Chicago's first possession in the third quarter. Swift was also denied in the end zone twice on the Bears' first offensive possession in the game.

After Swift's fumble, he never returned in the game. He was still on the sideline.

Stock Down: Tyrique Stevenson

Bears cornerback Tyrique Stevenson had an opportunity for an interception towards the end of the second quarter. Defensive coordinator Dennis Allen called a safety blitz for Elijah Hicks, who went unblocked at Smith. The Jets' quarterback threw the ball towards the left sideline and Stevenson was there to intercept the pass with a diving attempt, but the veteran cornerback couldn't catch the football, allowing the Jets to punt the ball.

With a 23-6 lead in the fourth quarter, Stevenson was beat deep on a 58-yard touchdown pass. There wasn't safety help, but Stevenson couldn't keep wide receiver Isaiah Williams in front of him on the play.

In the third quarter, Stevenson did make a 5-yard tackle for loss, showing some good instincts on the plays. The veteran cornerback continues to have an up and down season.

Honorable mention

Cairo Santos on all three of his field goal attempts. His long was just 30 yards, but when the Bears were denied out of the end zone, the Bears' kicker helped his team end those drives with points.
