An interesting moment occurred on a recent edition of "The Pat McAfee Show."
Pat McAfee had Cincinnati Bengals receivers Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins on the show. Chase had 1,412 receiving yards, while Higgins ended with 846.
At one point in the show, Chase was talking about current NFL quarterbacks and mentioned the name Caleb Daniels. McAfee and the crew instantly responded with sarcasm, since they were confused about who Chase was talking about.
After asking Chase, it turned out he meant Caleb Williams, and the crew laughed out loud.
"I don't know what the f*** his first name is," Chase said. "What's his name? What's the quarterback for the Bears?"
This is ironic from Chase, considering the Bengals literally played the Chicago Bears earlier this season, especially after Caleb Williams torched their defense.
The Bears won a 47-42 shootout that featured plenty of fourth-quarter action. Chicago was up 41-27 with under five minutes left in the game.
Joe Flacco led the Bengals' offense down the field and scored a touchdown with 1:43 left to make it 41-35.
Then, Cincinnati pulled off a miracle and recovered the onside kick after it bounced off one of Chicago's members of the hands team. Flacco got the ball back and scored after throwing a touchdown pass to tight end Andrei Iosivas to make it 42-41.
The fireworks weren't done yet, as the Bears got the ball back with 54 seconds left. It took four plays before Colston Loveland took over and scored a 58-yard touchdown to give the Bears the lead back.
Flacco threw an interception on the following drive to seal the win for the Bears.
Williams had 280 passing yards with three touchdowns, while Flacco had 470 passing yards, four touchdowns and two interceptions. Chase and Higgins each had over 100 receiving yards.
This win was towards the beginning of Williams' "Ice Man" era.
The fact that Chase didn't know the quarterback's name who led the comeback was surprising. The Bears and Bengals have played each other twice since Williams entered the league, once in the 2025 regular season and in the 2024 preseason.
Even if Chase didn't mean anything by it, the Bears and Bengals won't face each other in 2026. The Bears drew the NFC South and AFC East in their 2026 schedule and will face other division winners, meaning there is no chance the two will meet next season.
