Saturday was a historic game for the Chicago Bears for a number of reasons.
It was the first time that Soldier Field had hosted a playoff game since 2018, and the franchise's first trip to the postseason since 2020.
The atmosphere didn't disappoint, as Chicago fans showed up in great numbers to support the team.
The game didn't start too hot for the Bears, however. Chicago went into halftime down 21-3 to the Green Bay Packers. The Bears pulled off the comeback and erased the 18-point deficit to win 31-27.
Green Bay was limited to six points in the second half, whereas Chicago scored 28 to secure the playoff victory.
The comeback was historic for the franchise, but it wasn't even the biggest that the Bears have overcome. The 18-point comeback ranks third among the biggest deficits that the franchise has overcome.
There's a tie for the best rally in franchise history for 20 points.
The Bears beat the Arizona Cardinals in 2006 and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 1987 after being down 20 points. Chicago was down by 19 points to the San Francisco 49ers in 2001 and went on to win.
The win was a monumental one for Chicago, but it didn't come without some key losses. The Bears lost linebacker T.J. Edwards and left tackle Ozzy Trapilo to season-ending injuries.
Edwards had to be carted off the field, and it was revealed he suffered a fractured fibula. Trapilo limped to the sidelines late in the game and later reported that he sustained a patellar injury.
For the Bears, the conclusion of the game between the Philadelphia Eagles and San Francisco 49ers will determine who they play in the Divisional Round.
If the Eagles win, the Bears will play them for the second time this season. Chicago won 24-15 in Week 13 against the defending Super Bowl champs at Lincoln Financial Field. If Philadelphia wins, the Bears and Eagles will play at Soldier Field.
A 49ers win would mean that the Bears host the Los Angeles Rams, a team that is very hot at the moment. Puka Nacua could give the Chicago secondary problems with how inconsistent they've been at times.
Nacua finished with 111 receiving yards and one touchdown in the 34-31 win over the Carolina Panthers.
Out of the two, Bears fans will probably tell you they would prefer to face the Eagles again. Time will tell what team Chicago takes on in the Divisional Round.
