The Chicago Bears could use a proven pass rusher like Las Vegas Raiders star Maxx Crosby.
The Bears already have one piece at their disposal in Montez Sweat, who just had a career year, putting up 10 sacks, with 53 total tackles and 13 TFLs.
Outside of Sweat, the Bears still had problems sacking opposing quarterbacks. Chicago ranked 22nd in the NFL in sacks with 35.
There have been some rumblings about a potential trade for Crosby with the Raiders and Bears. Even General Manager Ryan Poles smiled when asked about the possibility.
There's been some unrest between Crosby and the Raiders' organization, as it looks like the star is ready for a new opportunity.

There are roadblocks in the way of a Bears' trade for Crosby, however, as they aren't the only team that would love to have him on the defensive line wreaking havoc.
According to ClutchPoints' Enzo Flojo, the Dallas Cowboys, Detroit Lions, and San Francisco 49ers would be good landing spots for Crosby, along with the Bears.
Since entering the league in 2019, Crosby has been dominant. He's made five Pro Bowls and has finished with 10 sacks or more four times.
He is coming off a Pro Bowl selection in 2025 after recording 10 sacks, 73 total tackles and 28 TFLs with the Raiders.
The question is what would Chicago have to give up to land a player like Crosby? D.J. Moore's name has been floated around as a potential player to add to the trade, along with multiple draft picks.

Chicago showed just how close its roster is to truly competing for a Super Bowl. The Bears reached the Divisional Round and nearly beat the Los Angeles Rams, falling 20-17 in overtime on a game-winning field goal.
Adding a player like Crosby to the defense could really put the Bears over the top and put them in a great position to be a contender in 2026.
We'll see if Poles is willing to take the risks necessary to bring a player of Crosby's status.
