Chicago's rookie quarterback is already eyeing a historic championship parade, calling for fans to wreak havoc and celebrate wildly if he finally delivers another ring to the city.
It's been a while since the Chicago Bears won a Super Bowl.
The Bears won their last Super Bowl in the 1985 season, beating the New England Patriots 46-10.
Quarterback Jim McMahon threw for 256 passing yards and scored two rushing touchdowns. Matt Suhey and William "The Refrigerator" Perry both had one rushing touchdown as well.
Reggie Phillips added to the Bears' total with a 28-yard pick-six. The defense added on again with a safety in the fourth quarter.
That was the last Super Bowl win, but it isn't the last time that the Bears played in one. The Bears reached the Super Bowl in the 2006 season and lost to the Indianapolis Colts 29-17.
The Bears made the playoffs for the first time since 2020 and reached the Divisional Round. This happened in the first season under head coach Ben Johnson, and vibes are high in the Windy City.
This team has a good young core of players that should set them up for sustained success. Is a Super Bowl in their future? Who knows.
However, Caleb Williams already knows the kind of response he wants from fans if they win a Super Bowl. He was on a recent episode of "Pardon My Take" and said he wants fans to trash the city of Chicago figuratively.
Big Cat joked that Williams could have his Range Rover, considering PFT Commentor told Jayden Daniels he could have his El Camino during the Washington Commanders' playoff run.
Williams doesn't want anything other than the fans to have the time of their lives.
"No, no, no, I don't want anything, man," Williams said. "Other than, I mean, just burn the city down, man. Bring out everybody. Have a good time. That's really it, man. Just wreak havoc in the city."
For the record, this shouldn't be taken literally. Williams wants fans to enjoy the moment, and it was simply a figure of speech. Williams absolutely doesn't want fans actually to burn down the city of Chicago.
We saw how wild New York City was after the New York Knicks won the NBA Finals. Imagine how crazy it would be if the Bears won their first Super Bowl since the 1985 season.
