NFL analyst Brad Gagnon of Bleacher Report believes Buffalo Bills WR D.J. Moore's stock is up entering Week 2 of the 2026 NFL season.
Moore caught five passes for 100 yards and one touchdown in Week 1 against the Houston Texans.
He also drew a 46-yard pass interference penalty and an illegal contact flag.
"Against said stellar defense, Moore made an immediate impact as the new No. 1 receiver in Buffalo," Gagnon wrote. "The 29-year-old veteran caught five passes for 100 yards and a touchdown while drawing a huge defensive pass interference penalty to set up another score and attracting double teams that opened up the rest of the field for fellow pass-catchers to go to work. It was one of the top dozen or so games of Moore's career, which is saying a lot considering that he came into the league in 2018. Early on, he fits like a glove."
For the Chicago Bears last season, Moore had 50 catches for 682 receiving yards and six receiving touchdowns. He played in all 17 games, proving once again that he's one of the most reliable players in the NFL
Moore played for Joe Brady when the two were on the Carolina Panthers. Josh Allen and Moore were also in the same draft class back in 2018, so the two stars already have a relationship.
Getting traded to a new team is tough, but at least Moore has a rapport with Allen and Brady already.
With Allen and Moore leading the offense, the Bills are once again Super Bowl contenders. Buffalo has yet to reach the Super Bowl in the Allen era, but that could change this season with Moore in the fold.
The Bills have reached the AFC Championship Game twice in the Allen era. Buffalo lost to Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs both times.
Allen and Co. face the Detroit Lions in Week 2. That figures to be a very high-scoring game between Allen and Jared Goff.
The Bills scored 36 points in Week 1, while the Lions put up 31 against the New Orleans Saints.
Allen finished with 334 passing yards, two passing touchdowns, 23 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns against the Texans. The 2024 MVP threw the game-winning touchdown to Josh Palmer.
