The Buffalo Bills have announced some roster moves before their Week 3 game against the Los Angeles Chargers.

The Buffalo Bills are getting ready to take on the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 3 of the NFL season, with the team looking to stay undefeated.

Buffalo has been able to jump out of the gates strong, but this game against the Chargers could test them. The Bills are 2-0 on the season, while the Chargers are 0-2 entering this contest.

But ahead of the game, the Bills have announced some roster moves. Buffalo has signed wide receiver Greg Dortch from the practice squad, while also placing defensive back Jordan Hancock on injured reserve.

Hancock missed the team's practice on Thursday and Friday due to a hamstring injury. The decision to place him on the injured reserve is to give him ample time to recover.

Hamstring injuries are notoriously tricky, and Buffalo wants to play things safe with the former fifth-round draft pick. So far this season, Hancock has recorded five tackles in two games.

Last season, Hancock had 22 total tackles, playing in 13 games for the Bills. Hancock played at Ohio State for his college football days.

As for Dortch, he has already been elevated for the first two games of the season for the Bills. In that time, he hasn't recorded a catch, but he has mainly been on special teams.

Dortch has returned five punts for 46 yards and five kickoffs for 133 yards. Last season, Dortch caught 29 passes for 206 yards and three touchdowns with the Arizona Cardinals.

With the Cardinals, Dortch also rushed the ball seven times for 15 yards and one touchdown. Buffalo may elect to get him more involved into the offensive game plan at some point, but that remains to be seen.

Entering the game with the Chargers, the Bills will need to be careful to not overlook this team. Los Angeles will be coming in with a sense of desperation after dropping the first two games of the season, so the Bills will want to make sure that they match the energy.

Buffalo has gotten off to a good start, but that can quickly be erased if they don't take the Chargers seriously in this game. Los Angeles has players on both sides of the ball who can do damage, so the Bills will need to plan well entering the game.

Kickoff between the Bills and Chargers is set for 10:00 a.m. PT/1:00 p.m. ET from Highmark Stadium in Buffalo.
