Josh Allen faces a potential offensive shortage as injuries to star receivers and key defensive anchors threaten to disrupt Buffalo’s game plan against the Chargers.

The Buffalo Bills will have four players listed as questionable heading into Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Wide receivers Keon Coleman and DJ Moore, defensive lineman Ed Oliver, and guard Ar'maj Reed-Adams all carry questionable designations on Buffalo's final injury report.

Coleman made the biggest jump of the four throughout the week. After missing Wednesday and Thursday with an ankle injury, Coleman returned as a limited participant Friday and is now questionable for Sunday's game.

Moore also remains questionable with the shoulder injury he suffered against Detroit last week. He was limited Wednesday, did not practice Thursday, and returned to a limited practice Friday.

The status of both receivers could have a significant impact on Buffalo's offense. Moore missed the second half of the Bills' Week 2 win over the Detroit Lions with his shoulder injury, while Coleman also dealt with an ankle issue, though he finished the game. Buffalo could potentially be without one or two of its top receivers against Los Angeles.

Oliver also made encouraging progress during the week. He did not practice on Wednesday due to the hip injury he suffered during warm-ups last Thursday. He was then limited Thursday and was a full participant Friday. Despite returning to a full practice, Oliver remains questionable for Sunday's game.

Reed-Adams was limited throughout all three practices with an elbow injury and is the fourth player carrying a questionable designation.

Buffalo also ruled out two players. Defensive back Jordan Hancock is out with a hamstring injury after missing practice Thursday and Friday. Defensive lineman T.J. Sanders is also out after missing all three practices after undergoing an appendectomy on Thursday.

The rest of Buffalo's injury report contains no game designation, with the players good to go for Sunday. Linebackers Joe Andreessen, Terrel Bernard, Bradley Chubb, and running back Ty Johnson were all full participants during the week.

Bernard was listed with a knee/veteran rest designation and did not practice Friday, but he does not carry a game status designation. For Johnson, it'll be his first game of the season since suffering a hamstring injury on August 8.

The biggest questions heading into Sunday will center on Buffalo's receiver room and whether Moore and Coleman can return to the lineup. The Bills have already had to adjust their offense because of Moore's injury, and having both receivers available would give Josh Allen considerably more flexibility.  Should one or both not play, there's a good chance rookie Skyler Bell gets his first in-game action.

Oliver's status will also be worth watching after he missed Buffalo's Week 2 win over Detroit. His return would give the Bills another important piece along the defensive line.

The Bills and Chargers kickoff at 1pm ET on FOX Sports.
