The Buffalo Bills fell just short of being the top-predicted offensive attack coming into the 2026 season.
The Buffalo Bills should once again be a top team in the NFL, with the 2026 season being a Super Bowl-or-bust year.
Buffalo returns many of the same players, but the front office did make some big changes this offseason. After multiple years of falling short, Sean McDermott was let go as the head coach, with Joe Brady being promoted to the role.
With Brady now in the mix, the Bills have some new energy around them heading into the season. Buffalo also went out to trade for star wide receiver D.J. Moore, giving quarterback Josh Allen a true weapon for the offense.
For too long, the Bills relied too heavily on Allen, especially in the postseason. But now the star quarterback has some extra weapons to throw the ball to on the offensive side of the ball.
This should open things up for the former MVP, potentially making Buffalo even better this year. So heading into the season, the Bills are being predicted to have a top offense in the NFL.
Buffalo came in ranked No. 2 on Dan Parr's list on NFL.com around the league entering the new year. The only team that was ranked ahead of the Bills was the Los Angeles Rams, who many see as the Super Bowl favorites.
In addition to Allen and Moore, the Bills' offensive line should be strong once again too. Buffalo has prided itself on the ability to protect Allen to the best of its ability, understanding that if he can stay upright, Buffalo has a better chance to win games.
The team also has James Cook in the backfield, and he will be looking to keep up his strong start to his career. Cook offers the Bills a dynamic pass-catcher out of the backfield, while also being able to rush the ball extremely well.
All in all, the Bills offense should again be a top unit in the NFL, barring any injuries taking place. This Buffalo team should benefit from the new schemes put into place by Brady, and maybe this could be the year that they finally reach the Super Bowl.
It's now-or-never for the Bills, putting a ton of pressure on the shoulders of Allen and the rest of the guys coming into the season. The AFC has multiple teams that could win the Super Bowl, but Buffalo is seen by many as the top group of the bunch.
