Joe Brady shuts down rumors of a Buffalo return for the star receiver, instead praising his current roster’s growth as the team prepares for training camp.
It doesn't look like a Stefon Diggs return to the Buffalo Bills is going to happen.
Over the last few weeks, there have been plenty of rumors and speculation, thanks to various social media interactions, that Diggs could return to Buffalo after two years away. The noise became so loud that head coach Joe Brady was even asked about the idea during a recent interview on the Shout! Podcast with Matt Parrino.
While not flat out asked if the team had interest in the former Pro Bowl receiver, Brady was asked if he was the type of player that could fit in the Bills offense.
And though Brady was complimentary of Diggs' accomplishments, he made sure to speak more on his believe of the players in the locker room.
"Steph had so much success here," Brady said, adding that he helped build what the team has right now.
"I love the way that he plays and respect [him], but I have so much confidence in this room right now."

Brady says that he loves where his receivers are at through minicamps, and he knows that general manager Brandon Beane and the personnel department are continuously looking at ways to improve the roster. But he thinks that what they have now is good to win with.
"The additions that we had with Skyler (Bell) and D.J. (Moore) and the growth of Josh (Palmer) and Keon (Coleman) and getting these other guys, I have so much confidence in it," he said. "I'm excited about it."
The Bills recently wrapped up their final minicamp of the offseason before getting six weeks to prepare for the grind of the 2026 season.
Training camp begins on July 29 at St. John Fisher University in Pittsford, NY. The first preseason game, and the first game to take place at the new Highmark Stadium, is set for Saturday, August 15 at 1pm.
