Predicting each game on the Buffalo Bills' 2026 NFL schedule.

The Buffalo Bills come into the new NFL season looking to finally get over the hump in the postseason.

Buffalo has continuously fallen short in the playoffs, leading to a change at head coach this offseason. Joe Brady now comes in, bringing new energy around the group.

But will the change make any difference? Here is a game-by-game prediction for how I think the Bills season will go:

Week 1: at Texans, Win

Related stories

The Bills get a tough test to kick off the season, heading on the road to play the Texans. Houston had one of the best defenses in the league a year ago, but the offense may still be a work in progress.

Due to this, I like the Bills to win, kicking off the Brady era in style.

Week 2: vs Lions, Win

The Lions could make life tough on the Bills with their explosive offense. But in the end, I like Buffalo to earn a big win to move to 2-0 on the year.

Week 3: vs Chargers, Win

Another tough AFC test for the Bills when the Chargers come to town. Los Angeles could be a formidable opponent here, but given that this game is in Buffalo, I lean toward the Bills to grab the win.

Week 4: vs Patriots, Win

Last season, the Bills and Patriots put together two exciting matchups for fans. This year shouldn't be any different, with Buffalo looking to take back the AFC East.

In this game, I like the Bills to take the win.

Week 5: at Rams, Loss

This could be a potential Super Bowl preview game, with the Bills going on the road to face the Rams. Both teams have star power all over, making it one of the best games of the year.

Buffalo suffers its first loss of the season on the road against Los Angeles.

Week 6: at Raiders, Win

Coming off the loss to the Rams, the Bills will take out any frustration on the Raiders. I like the Bills by 15 or more in this game.

Week 7: Bye Week

Week 8: vs Ravens, Win

Playing the Ravens right off the bye week could be tough, but this also gives Buffalo more time to prep. Baltimore is one of the better teams in the AFC, and the Bills will need their A-game here.

However, Buffalo finds a way to win at home, earning the gritty win.

Week 9: at Vikings, Loss

The Vikings are one of the more interesting teams in football, with Kyle Murray now under center. The Bills defense will have to watch for Justin Jefferson at all times in this game, and he has the talent to burn them.

Jefferson does just that, putting up over 200 yards receiving, helping the Vikings upset Buffalo.

Week 10: at Jets, Win

Division games are always tough, no matter the teams involved. New York will put up a fight, keeping the game close into the fourth quarter.

But in the end, the Bills sneak out with a three-point win.

Week 11: vs Dolphins, Win

The Dolphins shouldn't be too much trouble for the Bills, but again, division games can be weird sometimes. However, the Bills take care of business here, setting up a huge matchup next week.

Week 12: vs Chiefs, Win

Josh Allen vs Patrick Mahomes is always a fun matchup, with the rivalry being taken to a new level now. Whenever these teams get together, it becomes must-watch TV.

Give me Buffalo to get the win, making another statement on the year.

Week 13: at Patriots, Loss

Going to New England is never easy, but the Bills will feel confident coming off the Chiefs win. However, the Patriots get the better of the Bills here, with the two sides splitting the season matchup.

Week 14: at Packers, Loss

The Packers should have Micah Parsons back for this game, and he made the Bills feel his dominance. Parsons racks up three sacks on Allen, helping Green Bay take down Buffalo.

The second straight loss sends some panic into the fans of the Bills.

Week 15: vs Bears, Win

Chicago travels to Buffalo to face the Bills, setting up a fun quarterback matchup of Caleb Williams and Allen. Both signal-callers play well, but the Bills earn a win on a touchdown late in the fourth quarter.

The good vibes are back for the Bills, with a matchup with the Broncos looming.

Week 16: at Broncos, Win

A rematch from last year's playoffs gives the Bills a chance for some revenge. The Broncos defense should be strong again, making this game a challenge.

But this time, it's the Bills who leave Denver with a statement win.

Week 17: at Dolphins, Win

Miami has weirdly given the Bills some trouble in the past, but with seeding on the line, Buffalo is able to get the win. It won't be easy, but the Bills earn a victory, despite Allen throwing two interceptions.

Week 18: vs Jets, Win

Buffalo shouldn't have any problems with the Jets in this game. Give me the Bills to close out the season on a high note.

Final Prediction: 13-4, make the playoffs as the AFC East winner
