The Bills return to 97 Rock for 2026, marking a nostalgic homecoming at the new stadium while adding franchise legend Steve Tasker to the official broadcast team.
What's old is new again. The Buffalo Bills have announced their plans for radio coverage for the 2026 season.
On Friday, the team revealed that 97 Rock (WGRF-FM) in Buffalo will be the new flagship station for Bills radio broadcasts. This is the second time the Bills have aired games on the station, as it was their home from 1998-2011.

In February, it was announced that WGR-AM 550 in Buffalo would no longer be the Bills' flagship station. It had been the home of official Bills coverage since 2012, but the team decided to switch its production to 100% in-house and shop the rights around.
"As we move into Highmark Stadium, we look forward to bringing Bills games back to 97 Rock and expanding our reach to even more fans across New York, as well as Southern Ontario," Bills president of business operations Pete Guelli said. "This new partnership ensures Bills fans will enjoy a best-in-class broadcast experience each and every game day."
Returning to call the action will be Chris Brown and Eric Wood for their fourth season together. The major change comes on the sidelines.
WGR's Sal Capaccio is out as sideline reporter and will be replaced by Bills legend Steve Tasker. Capaccio had been in the role since 2014.
Tasker has served as the color analyst for Buffalo Bills preseason games since leaving CBS in 2018. A new color analyst for preseason television broadcasts is expected to be announced before the season begins.
In addition to the move to 97 Rock in Buffalo, games will also air on WSKO The Score 1260 in Syracuse. Other stations in the Rochester, NY and Southern Ontario areas will be announced in the near future.
Bills owner Terry Pegula's other team, the Buffalo Sabres, are also expected to leave WGR-AM 550 at the conclusion of their season.
