Buffalo snags Skyler Bell, a dynamic UConn talent, finally bolstering their wide receiver corps late in the draft.
It took until pick 125, but the Buffalo Bills have finally addressed their need at wide receiver, selecting UConn WR Skyler Bell in the 4th Round.
The former Husky spent his first three years with Wisconsin before transferring to UConn where he played two years.
His first season at UConn in 2024 saw him catch 50 passes for 860 yards and 5 touchdowns. But then, in 2025, he really came into his own.

Last season, Bell had 101 catches for 1278 yards and 13 touchdowns. His yardage and touchdown production were good for 2nd and 3rd in the country, respectively. He also averaged over eight yards after the catch in 2025.
Bell finished his college career with 220 catches for 2,893 yards and 24 touchdowns over 52 games.
As far as what he brings to the Bills, he has the ability to line up both in the slot and on the outside. He is a route runner who could remind some Bills fans of how Stevie Johnson ran, finding ways to get open, even against the best corners.
Where he struggles is against physical press corners. He has also had issues with drops that will need to be cleaned up if he's going to be the player the Bills want him to be.
Looking at the big picture, Bell joins a receiver room that includes DJ Moore, Khalil Shakir, Joshua Palmer, and Keon Coleman, among others. What this means for Coleman's future remains to be seen, but the Bills continue to say that they believe in him as a player.
The Bills ended up using all three of their 4th-round picks. The first was used on Bowry at 102, while pick 126 was used on TCU linebacker Kaleb Elarms-Orr. As of writing, the Bills still have two 5th-round picks and a 7th.
