Buffalo faces a banged-up roster for its first divisional test as Christian Benford and Keon Coleman headline a lengthy list of starters sidelined for Wednesday's practice.

The Buffalo Bills are dealing with several injuries heading into their first AFC East matchup of the season, with Christian Benford and Keon Coleman among the players who did not practice Wednesday.

Benford was a new addition to the injury report after suffering a toe injury during last Sunday's win over the Los Angeles Chargers. The starting cornerback left the game and was ruled out, creating another concern for a Buffalo secondary that is already dealing with injuries.

Benford did not practice Wednesday, a development worth watching as the Bills prepare to host the New England Patriots on Sunday. Head coach Joe Brady addressed Benford's status earlier Wednesday, with the team still evaluating the cornerback's availability.

Coleman also didn't practice on Wednesday because of his ankle injury. The wide receiver has been dealing with the issue for two weeks now, but he still managed to play against the Chargers after being limited during the practice week leading up to that game.

Another player who missed Wednesday was defensive lineman T.J. Sanders, who underwent an appendectomy last week. His timetable remains up in the air.

Joe Andreessen was also held out of practice with a knee injury, while Damar Hamlin was limited with a rib injury. DJ Moore, who has been dealing with a shoulder injury, was also limited.

There was some positive news for Buffalo.

Terrel Bernard participated fully despite being listed with a knee injury, while Bradley Chubb was a full participant with his thumb injury. Ar'maj Reed-Adams also practiced fully with his elbow injury, and Dorian Williams was a full participant with a hip injury.

Deone Walker was limited with a quad injury.

Perhaps the biggest question coming out of Sunday's game, however, was Josh Allen's left knee.

Allen took a helmet to the knee with 9:46 remaining in the fourth quarter against the Chargers and visibly grimaced after the hit. He remained in the game and even had another designed run on the following possession. Allen also appeared to be favoring the leg after the game.

Despite that, Allen was not listed on Wednesday's injury report.

The Bills enter Sunday's matchup with New England at 3-0, but the injury report will be particularly important this week. Buffalo already lost starting cornerback Christian Benford during Sunday's win, and the team has several other players dealing with injuries as it prepares for its first divisional game of the season.
