Buffalo Bills tight end Dawson Knox reveals that one teammate battled a torn PCL all season, playing through significant pain. He still led the team in receiving touchdowns.

Dalton Kincaid played 2025 banged up, but fans didn't really know how hurt he actually was. That is until his Buffalo Bills teammate broke the news during a recent podcast appearance.

Speaking former Bills center Mitch Morse on his Monday Mornings with Mitch podcast (On Thursday), tight end Dawson Knox spoke about Kincaid's up and down season. At one point, Knox was talking about the toughness that the third-year tight end out of Utah showed.

That's when he dropped the news.

"Dalton has a torn PCL he was playing through," Knox said. "Just the amount of head, shoulders, knees and toes the guys were dealing with. Everything. It was easier to make a list of things that didn't hurt on a lot of these guys."

The knee injury kept Kincaid out of five games this season. However, despite only playing 12 games in the regular season, Kincaid had 571 yards and five touchdowns on 39 catches. Those five touchdowns were good enough to lead the team in receiving touchdowns on the year.

He even led the Bills in receiving touchdowns in the playoffs with two in two games to go with nine catches for 111 yards.

Kincaid is entering the final year of his rookie contract. He was selected by Buffalo with the 25th overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. That means the Bills do have a fifth-year option they can use on him.

They have to make that decision by May 1, 2026. Should they pick it up, his contract would be extended by another year with a value of roughly $8.7 million per Article 7, Section 7(g) of the CBA.

In three seasons, Kincaid has made 156 catches for 1692 yards and nine touchdowns. Despite a strong rookie season that saw him break the Bills receiving yards record for a rookie tight end with 673 yards, Kincaid has been plagued by injury the last two years.

It's just another in the long list of questions facing the Bills this offseason.
