Buffalo receives a defensive boost as their star lineman returns, but mounting concerns remain for twelve injured players ahead of a high-stakes AFC showdown against Baltimore.

For the first time in weeks, defensive lineman Ed Oliver was a full participant at practice for the Buffalo Bills.

As the team continues to get ready for Sunday's game against the Baltimore Ravens, 12 players find themselves on the injury report on Thursday. And, as to be expected, it was a mix of full participants, those who were limited, and those who didn't practice at all.

First, regarding those who were full, it wasn't just Oliver with the designation. T.J. Sanders, who was limited by a shoulder injury on Wednesday, was also a full participant on Thursday, along with rookie guard Ar'Maj Reed-Adams.

The list of those limited on Thursday was the longest portion of the report. Six of the 12 players were listed as limited, including a new addition.

Linebacker Joe Andresseen, who wasn't on Wednesday's report, was limited with a knee issue. Joining him was Bradley Chubb (thumb/chest), Dalton Kincaid (chest), DJ Moore (shoulder), TJ Parker (knee), and Tyrell Shavers (knee). Shavers remains on the PUP list, but his 21-day window is open.

For Kincaid and Moore, both remained in red non-contact jerseys. The status of both players for Sunday remains up in the air, though both are hopeful to play. Moore is looking to come back after missing the last two and a half games.

Finally, three key players were non-participants, including a downgraded player.

Spencer Brown missed his second-straight day of practice with a back issue. That said, on Wednesday he said he was still planning to play on Sunday. Ray Davis was also out, though it was due to illness.

The big one worth watching is Dee Alford. Buffalo's starting nickel corner was limited with an ankle on Wednesday, but was downgraded to a DNP on Thursday.

As of writing, the Bills haven't given an update on what happened between, but it's certainly something to keep an eye on.

Overall, there are a lot of questions to answer before the Bills kick off against the Ravens on Sunday afternoon. Oliver being back full is a good sign for his return this week, but most of the eyes will be on Moore and Kincaid. If neither can go, Buffalo will be without two of their key weapons in a game that will be key in the team's efforts to keep pace at the top of the AFC standings.

The Bills and Ravens are set to play at 1pm ET on Sunday at Highmark Stadium. The game will air on CBS Sports.
