Hosts Mike Straw and Anthony Moeglin debate defensive line additions, free agent visits, and the front office's role in rebuilding a defense that struggled against the run.
Are the Buffalo Bills still looking for reinforcements on the defensive line? And should they look to add more cornerback depth?
It's Episode 30 of the Bills Roundtable Podcast with hosts Mike Straw and Anthony Moeglin. In this episode, Mike and Anthony talk about the Bills bringing in a Super Bowl champion defensive end on a free agent visit, the idea of looking into the recently released Kenny Moore II, and former Bills who are still on the free agent market.
Here's a fun stat for you: Buffalo has 13 players from the 2025 team still unsigned. Most of those players are from a defense that was 28th in the NFL against the run, but 1st against the pass. So, is this more of an indictment on Brandon Beane or Sean McDermott? McDermott is gone, and long-time players like Tre'Davious White, A.J. Epenesa, Jordan Phillips, and Matt Milano are out. Was it really a case of McDermott wanting them and Beane giving in, or are people letting Beane off the hook?
Mike and Anthony also have a little bit of fun with numbers. The Bills rookies received their jersey numbers for 2026 this week, and it's time to decide if they are good or bad numbers for the position and their roles on the team.
Should a punter really wear a number in the 30s? Why aren't more wide receivers choosing 80s? These are the debates you come here for, and we have.
