All eyes turn to Orchard Park as Joe Brady’s squad gathers for minicamp. From Keon Coleman’s emergence to critical position battles, we break down the latest storylines.
The final on-field work of the offseason before training camp begins is here as the Buffalo Bills are in Orchard Park for mandatory minicamp.
Unlike the voluntary OTAs, everyone is in attendance for the camp as they get ready for the first season under new head coach Joe Brady and the rest of his staff.
And while there's no major story coming out of the first two days of practice, there are still plenty of things to talk about.
The Missing Weapon | Could Keenan Allen Be What The Bills Need?
It's episode 35 of the Bills Roundtable Podcast with Mike Straw and Anthony Moeglin.
Join us as we talk about some of the top storylines coming out of practice at One Bills Drive. From a promising young offensive lineman making a big position change to injury concerns for players like Dorian Williams and Skyler Bell, there's plenty to discuss before the team breaks ahead of training camp in July.
Plus, what about Keon Coleman? Coaches and teammates have been speaking up about their belief in the third-year receiver, but is he actually showing promise on the practice field?
Lastly, everyone knows the type of player and personality that C.J. Gardner-Johnson is. After all, there's a reason he's been on so many teams over his career.
But, so far in Buffalo, not only is he talking the talk, but he's walking the walk. At practice, he's made plays and, so far, has shown why they brought him in as part of a revamped defensive backfield.
Will that translate to game success? Time will tell, but the early returns on the "loud" and outspoken defensive back have been nothing short of positive through offseason work.
