General manager Brandon Beane faces looming deadlines and difficult cuts as Buffalo transitions from a perfect preseason to a finalized depth chart centered around superstar Josh Allen.
With a 28-27 win on Thursday night, the Buffalo Bills completed their 2026 preseason campaign a perfect 3-0 under new head coach Joe Brady. But with the games done and preseason practices complete, it's time for the tough decisions to be made by Brady, his staff, and general manager Brandon Beane.
Final cuts are due to the league by 6pm ET on Sunday, August 30. That means the Bills have just a couple of days to get their initial roster sent to the league. But how is it going to shape up?
After watching practices and all preseason snaps, here's my final 53-man roster projection for Buffalo. For comparison purposes, check out our previous 53-man roster projection coming out of training camp in Rochester.

Note: If the Bills do put both Van-Pan Granger and Bowry on IR, it would open two potential roster spots. I wouldn't be surprised to see Beane look at other teams' cuts to pick up two insurance-policy players. The same goes for inside linebacker.
