With the Tampa Bay Buccaneers sitting at 1-5, the front office may look to make some moves. Veteran EDGE Anthony Nelson is one player who could be a trade target, as he continues to slip down the depth chart.

As the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' season goes left, the front office is likely thinking about becoming sellers at the trade deadline, generating additional cap space for next offseason.

One player who has been mentioned as a potential suitor is veteran EDGE Anthony Nelson, who has been a rotational piece on Tampa's defensive line for seven seasons.

Going forward, Nelson is set to make around $2.7 million over the rest of the season, but has taken a backseat to emerging talents in the room and makes most of his appearances on special teams.

On Thursday morning, ESPN's Bill Barnwell named a potential team who could be interested in Nelson - the Chicago Bears.

Barnwell noted the Bears' ability to generate pressure while rushing only four being atop the NFL ranks this season, but said that Nelson would give the defense much-needed depth.

For Tampa, Barnwell had the team recouping a sixth-round pick, while clearing up space on a player who has had a minimal impact.

Over the past two weeks, Nelson has played in just 12 of 139 possible defensive snaps, while recording five total tackles and a sack throughout this full season.

He did have a strong offseason, but the additions of Rueben Bain Jr. and A'Shawn Robinson made it more-difficult to see a pathway to significant minutes.

The recent emergence of outside linebacker David Walker adds additional fuel to the fire, as the former Central Arkansas standout has taken over the mantle as the Bucs' top pass rusher thus far.

After missing all of last year, his official rookie season, with a torn ACL, Walker has made a big impact along head coach Todd Bowles' front seven.

Despite being listed as a backup EDGE on the depth chart, Walker leads the team with four sacks, posting his best professional performance on Sunday.

On Sunday, against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Walker had his first multi-sack day (2), while recording a career-high seven tackles.

Walker did a great job of getting off the line of scrimmage quickly, and beating the Pittsburgh offensive line to the outside.

As the Bucs continue to try to find the best rushing combinations to utilize, Walker needs to be on the field as much as possible.

Bain also recorded his first professional sack, which should help the Bucs' top draft pick get back on track after a slow start and injuries.

With young talents beginning to emerge and the Bucs' season waning, Tampa's front office will likely look to get younger and cheaper.

Nelson is definitely a player to keep your eyes on as the trade deadline approaches (Nov. 10).
