The Kansas City Chiefs have been very busy this offseason with players leaving and entering.
The secondary took a massive hit with Bryan Cook signing with the Cincinnati Bengals, Trent McDuffie being traded to the Los Angeles Rams, and Jaylen Watson joining McDuffie in LA on a free agent deal.
Leo Chenal also left and signed with the Washington Commanders, and although Kansas City did add Alohi Gilman, the defense has a lot of new faces and a lot of departures.
Running back Isiah Pacheco signed with the Detroit Lions, but the Chiefs' home run signing of Seahawks star and Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker III more than makes up for that.
The Chiefs also saw Gardner Minshew sign with the Arizona Cardinals, but Kansas City acquired Justin Fields to be the backup QB in a trade with the Jets.
Now, another departure has taken place as wide receiver Hollywood Brown has inked a one-year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles, as first reported by Jordan Schultz.
Brown began his career with the Baltimore Ravens before going to the Arizona Cardinals.
Brown then signed with the Chiefs in 2024, but he played just two games due to injuries and returned in 2025.
This past season was better for Brown as he played in 16 games, catching 49 passes for 587 yards with five scores.
His best year came in 2021 with the Ravens as Brown caught 91 passes for 1,008 yards with six touchdowns, but he was traded to the Cardinals during the 2022 NFL Draft.
The Chiefs seemed unlikely to bring Brown back this offseason, and he finds a new home with the Eagles.
The Eagles have been involved in trade rumors for star WR A.J. Brown, and if he is traded, it would likely mean even more targets for Brown with Jalen Hurts throwing him passes.
The Eagles also have DeVonta Smith as the WR, and he led the team in yards last season, and was one catch behind Brown for the team lead in that category.
After that, it wasn't much in the WR room, so adding Brown to be potentially the WR3 if Brown and Smith stay is a smart move by the Eagles and a chance for Brown to bounce back and hit free agency again in 2027.
And, for Kansas City, it is another loss, but the Chiefs might be targeting a WR early on in the NFL Draft.
