Tyreek Hill's agent says the former Chiefs star could sign with a team in the next few days as Kansas City remains in the mix for a reunion.

The Kansas City Chiefs may not have to wait long to learn whether Tyreek Hill will be returning to his former team.

Hill could sign with a team within the next few days as the free-agent wide receiver prepares to negotiate with multiple contenders, his agent Drew Rosenhaus told ESPN.

“I would anticipate Tyreek potentially signing with a team over the next few days,” Rosenhaus said.

The Chiefs are among the teams interested in Hill, who spent his first six NFL seasons in Kansas City.

Kansas City has already reached out to Hill's agent about a potential reunion after losing two wide receivers to injuries during Sunday's 30-27 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders.

Rosenhaus told ESPN that Hill only intends to sign with a team he considers a legitimate contender.

“He's only going to play for a team that he feels can win the Super Bowl,” Rosenhaus said.

That would certainly include the Chiefs.

Kansas City improved to 4-0 with its 30-27 victory over the Raiders and enters its Week 5 bye as the AFC's only unbeaten team.

The Chiefs' need at receiver also became clearer Monday.

Tyquan Thornton suffered a dislocated left ankle against Las Vegas and is expected to miss 12 to 16 weeks, according to NFL Network. There remains hope Thornton could return late in the regular season or during the playoffs.

Rashee Rice also left Sunday's game with a hamstring injury, although the Chiefs have since received encouraging news about Rice. His injury is believed to be relatively minor, and Kansas City's bye could allow him to return without missing a game.

Hill, meanwhile, has been working his way back from the devastating knee injury that ended his 2025 season.

The 32-year-old suffered a dislocated left kneecap and tore multiple ligaments, including his ACL, while playing for the Miami Dolphins last September. Miami released him during the offseason, and Hill has been targeting a return to the field in November.

He recently posted video of himself training and has suggested on social media that his return is getting closer.

A reunion would bring Hill back to the organization where he became one of the NFL's most dangerous receivers. He made the Pro Bowl in each of his six seasons with Kansas City and helped the Chiefs win Super Bowl LIV before being traded to Miami in 2022.

There also appears to be support for a reunion inside the Chiefs' locker room. Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and Chris Jones were among the Kansas City players who told The Athletic's Michael Silver they would welcome Hill back.

Whether Kansas City ultimately lands Hill remains uncertain, particularly with other teams involved.

But the waiting period may be short. With negotiations underway and Rosenhaus saying Hill could sign with a team within days, the Chiefs should soon find out whether one of the most accomplished receivers in franchise history is coming home.
