Despite Indianapolis Colts wide receivers Josh Downs and Ashton Dulin returning from injuries, AD Mitchell is still active against the Tennessee Titans. Rookie running back DJ Giddens is a healthy scratch, however.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — The Indianapolis Colts (6-1) enter Sunday afternoon with improving health, while the Tennessee Titans (1-6) are dealing with the exact opposite.

Colts wide receivers Josh Downs and Ashton Dulin both return from injury this week after missing last week's win over the Los Angeles Chargers. Running back Tyler Goodson does as well after missing the last three weeks. Cornerback Jaylon Jones, who is on Injured Reserve with a hamstring injury, returned to the practice field this week, although he is not yet ready for gameplay. The Colts also ruled out defensive ends Samson Ebukam (knee) and Tyquan Lewis (groin) prior to the game.

The Titans will be without three of their most critical players, as wide receiver Calvin Ridley and defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons are both out with hamstring injuries, and cornerback L'Jarius Sneed was placed on IR this week with a quadriceps injury. Guard Blake Hance (shoulder/back) and wide receiver Bryce Oliver (knee) are also out.

Titans linebacker Arden Key (quad) and safety Xavier Woods (ankle) both entered the game as questionable. Key was ruled inactive, while Woods will play.

Here are the inactive players for both teams:

    • DE Samson Ebukam (knee)
    • RB DJ Giddens
    • DE Tyquan Lewis (groin)
    • S Reuben Lowery III
    • TE Will Mallory
    • LB Chad Muma
    • OT Luke Tenuta

The Colts called up cornerback Cameron Mitchell and defensive end Durell Nchami from the practice squad for today's game. It's the third consecutive week for Mitchell and the first for Nchami. The Colts will now have to officially sign Mitchell to the active roster if they are going to play him again.

With Ebukam and Lewis sidelined for Sunday, rookie second-round pick JT Tuimoloau, Nchami, and perhaps defensive tackle Adetomiwa Adebawore should have an increased workload.

Wide receiver AD Mitchell appears to be working his way out of the doghouse, as he is active despite Downs and Dulin returning. Rookie running back DJ Giddens, however, is a healthy scratch with Goodson's return.

    • OT Brandon Crenshaw-Dickson
    • G Blake Hance (shoulder/back)
    • LB Arden Key (quad)
    • WR Bryce Oliver (knee)
    • WR Calvin Ridley (hamstring)
    • Jeffery Simmons (hamstring)

Ridley, Simmons, Key (and Sneed) are all significant players for Tennessee, so they could be in for a long day at Lucas Oil Stadium.
