There are seven players out with injuries in the Indianapolis Colts' road matchup with the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — The Indianapolis Colts (5-1) and Los Angeles Chargers (4-2) limp into their pivotal AFC battle on Sunday afternoon, with a total of seven players inactive due to injuries.

Colts wide receivers Josh Downs (concussion) and Ashton Dulin (chest), running back Tyler Goodson (groin), and cornerback Charvarius Ward Sr. (concussion) are out. Ward was placed on Injured Reserve on Saturday, causing him to miss at least the next four games.

Colts slot cornerback Kenny Moore II (Achilles), who entered the weekend as questionable, is active after missing the last three games.

Chargers offensive tackle Trey Pipkins III (knee) was ruled out on Friday. Offensive tackle Joe Alt (ankle) and safety Elijah Molden (thumb) were doubtful, and wide receiver Derius Davis (knee), linebacker Troy Dye (thumb), running back Hassan Haskins (chest), and guard Jamaree Salyer (knee) were questionable.

Alt, Molden, and Dye were all ultimately ruled inactive.

Here are the inactive players for both teams:

    • WR Josh Downs (concussion)
    • WR Ashton Dulin (chest)
    • RB Tyler Goodson (groin)
    • DT Eric Johnson II
    • S Reuben Lowery III
    • TE Will Mallory
    • OT Luke Tenuta

This weekend, along with placing Ward on IR, the Colts also officially signed running back Ameer Abdullah to the active roster from the practice squad, who will fill in for Goodson. The Colts also elevated wide receiver Laquon Treadwell and cornerback Cameron Mitchell to the roster from the practice squad for Sunday's game.

With Downs and Dulin out, expect to see plenty of Anthony Gould and AD Mitchell filling in at receiver.

In Ward's absence, unless the Colts bring in outside help, it'll be Mekhi Blackmon and Johnathan Edwards at cornerback on the outside.

    • OT Joe Alt (ankle)
    • LB Troy Dye (thumb)
    • OLB Kyle Kennard
    • WR KeAndre Lambert-Smith
    • S Elijah Molden (thumb)
    • OT Trey Pipkins III (knee)
    • CB Nikko Reed

The Chargers got some great news when they were able to activate outside linebacker Khalil Mack (elbow) and linebacker Denzel Perryman (ankle) from the Injured Reserve list this weekend, allowing them to play on Sunday. LA is, however, without its current top two offensive tackles in Alt and Pipkins.
