For much of the Colts' last three games, their offense has come back down to earth, as the team has gone 1-2 in that stretch.
The group was dominating opponents in the first half of the season before 12 sacks and eight turnovers combined in Weeks 9 and 10, against the Pittsburgh Steelers and Atlanta Falcons, derailed the team's progress.
The Colts carried a 20-9 lead into the fourth quarter against the Chiefs in Arrowhead last week, and despite not taking any sacks or turning the ball over, the offense went stagnant, going three-and-out in each of their four possessions in the fourth quarter and overtime, falling, 23-20.
This week is about stability and consistency. Can the offense complement the Colts' defense? The offense must maintain the clean play in ball security and keeping Jones clean, but they must also be productive and execute when it matters most.
They have the No. 1 defense in the league ahead of them on Sunday at Lucas Oil Stadium.
