INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Coming out of their bye week, the Indianapolis Colts (8-2) are on the road this Sunday to take on the Kansas City Chiefs (5-5) at Arrowhead.
There's a lot on the line in this matchup. The Colts would reclaim the top seed in the AFC playoff standings with a win, while the Chiefs are fighting for their season's life as they look to avoid going below .500 and losing a third consecutive game for the first time in quarterback Patrick Mahomes' career.
So, how can you take in Colts vs. Chiefs, whether you're in the Central Indiana market or not? Here's how you can catch the action.
In their last two games, the Colts have given up 12 sacks on quarterback Daniel Jones, while he's accounted for seven of their eight turnovers in that span. With the benefit of having the bye week to figure out their issues, will the Colts resemble more of the unstoppable buzzsaw that they were early in the season, or the mistake-prone mess from Weeks 9 and 10?
The one constant in the Colts' offense all year has been the dominant play of running back Jonathan Taylor, who has made a legitimate case for the MVP award. He's fresh off a 286-yard, three-touchdown performance against the Atlanta Falcons in Berlin. This is a high-profile matchup against Mahomes' Chiefs that could further push Taylor into the MVP argument.
On the defensive side of the ball, the Colts will unveil their new cornerback tandem of Sauce Gardner and Charvarius Ward Sr. for the first time. The Colts traded for Gardner a couple of weeks ago, and he made his debut that week against the Falcons, but Ward was on Injured Reserve due to concussions. Ward has since been cleared to play.
The Colts match up very well against this year's edition of the Chiefs, but with their backs against the wall, how will head coach Andy Reid and Kansas City respond?
