The Indianapolis Colts made four roster cuts to account for additions made during NFL Draft weekend.
The Indianapolis Colts have made four roster moves following last week's 2026 NFL Draft.
The team announced on Thursday that they waived defensive end Viliami Fehoko Jr. and linebacker Joseph Vaughn, released offensive lineman Bill Murray, and waived-injured offensive tackle Jack Wilson. If Wilson clears waivers, he will revert to the Colts' Injured Reserve list.
Fehoko (6'4", 267, 26 years old) was originally a fourth-round pick by the Dallas Cowboys in 2023 out of San Jose State. He has also spent time with the Washington Commanders in 2024 before joining the Colts' practice squad in November 2025. He re-signed with the Colts on a reserve/future deal at the conclusion of the season. Fehoko has yet to appear in an NFL game.
The Colts drafted two fellow defensive ends last week, Florida's George Gumbs Jr. and Caden Curry out of Ohio State, which simply added too many bodies at the position to continue carrying into the offseason.
Vaughn (6'3", 238, 25) was in his second stint with the Colts after they signed him as an undrafted rookie out of UCLA last spring. He was cut during the preseason before being re-signed to a reserve/futures deal in January.
As they did on the edges, the Colts drafted two linebackers, CJ Allen from Georgia and Bryce Boettcher from Oregon, which rendered Vaughn as an extra.
Murray (6'4", 321, 28) came into the league out of William & Mary as an undrafted free agent with the New England Patriots in 2020. He's also spent time with the Chicago Bears (2023-24) and two stints in New England (2020-23, 2025). The Colts signed Murray to the practice squad in December 2025 and a reserve/futures deal after the season. He's been active for four career games, with zero starts.
The Colts drafted Kentucky guard Jalen Farmer in the fourth round this spring, bumping Murray off the roster.
Wilson (6'11", 310, 26) had been the tallest player on the Colts' roster. He had a long, winding college career as a basketball and football player, joining Oregon State, Idaho, Washington State, and Minnesota.
Wilson joined the Colts' practice squad in October 2024, but will now have missed the 2025 and 2026 seasons while on Injured Reserve.
