Indianapolis Colts head coach Shane Steichen told reporters that QB Daniel Jones has a fibula injury but is good to go for Sunday's game vs. the Kansas City Chiefs.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Indianapolis Colts quarterback Daniel Jones remained a participant in practice on Friday after being listed as "limited" on Thursday with a calf injury.

Jones was present for the early portion of practice that is open to the media on Friday, just as he was on Thursday. Jones did not miss any of the action on Friday during the open portion.

Colts head coach Shane Steichen spoke to reporters after practice and advised that Jones fully participated throughout Friday's practice, and clarified that, after further evaluation, Jones' injury is a fibula injury and not a calf injury.

"You guys saw Daniel was on the injury report yesterday. He felt some discomfort in practice," Steichen explained. "We thought it was a calf. We went back and reevaluated it. It was actually a fibula. But he was a full participant in practice today and he'll be ready to go for Sunday."

Jones was seen briefly speaking with a trainer during Thursday's practice for a few minutes, appearing to point at his lower leg. Afterward, he jogged back over to the group of quarterbacks for positional drills, not appearing to limp or favor the leg in any noticeable way. Jones was not on the practice report on Wednesday.

If there's an injury you don't want to mention to Indiana sports fans, it's a calf (see Andrew Luck and Tyrese Haliburton). So, when Jones popped up on the injury report on Thursday with a calf injury, it gave plenty of fans pause. However, this doesn't seem worth losing sleep over.

Through 10 games, the Colts hold an 8-2 record, and Jones is 223-of-319 passing (69.9%) for 2,659 yards (8.3 YPA), 15 touchdowns, and seven interceptions, for a rating of 101.6. He also has 143 yards and five scores on the ground.

Jones currently ranks among the top 10 in the NFL and is on pace for single-season career bests in numerous statistical passing categories.

Along with Jones, here is the Colts' injury report from Thursday:

    • Did Not Participate — DT Grover Stewart (rest)
    • Limited Participant — DE Samson Ebukam (knee), QB Daniel Jones (calf), DE Tyquan Lewis (groin)
    • Full Participant — LB Jaylon Carlies (IR-ankle), WR Anthony Gould (knee), CB Kenny Moore II (rest), CB Charvarius Ward Sr. (IR-concussion)

The Colts visit the Kansas City Chiefs (5-5) this Sunday at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. The game is at 1:00 p.m. ET and can be viewed on CBS.
