INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — The Indianapolis Colts saw some positive developments on the injury report on Wednesday, as cornerback Jaylon Jones returned to practice after a hamstring injury in Week 1 landed him on Injured Reserve.

Cornerback is the Colts' most depleted position, so Jones' eventual return is a much welcomed development.

Wide receivers Josh Downs and Ashton Dulin, and running back Tyler Goodson, who all missed last week's game, also practiced on Wednesday.

The Titans, meanwhile, are incredibly shorthanded entering the week.

Here's how each team's health is shaping up ahead of Sunday afternoon's battle:

COLTS

WEDNESDAY

  • Did Not Participate — DE Samson Ebukam (knee), DE Tyquan Lewis (groin), CB Kenny Moore II (Achilles), OT Braden Smith (rest)
  • Limited Participant — WR Josh Downs (concussion), CB Jaylon Jones (hamstring)
  • Full Participant — WR Ashton Dulin )chest), RB Tyler Goodson (groin)

While the Colts did get good news regarding some of their players who had already been out, Ebukam and Lewis were additions to the injury report after leaving last Sunday's win early. Colts head coach Shane Steichen considers Lewis day-to-day, while Ebukam is week-to-week. Expect to see more of rookie second-round pick JT Tuimoloau as a result.

TITANS

WEDNESDAY

  • Did Not Participate — G Blake Hance (shoulder/back), P Johnny Hekker (illness), LB Arden Key (quad), DE James Lynch (shoulder), WR Bryce Oliver (knee), RB Tony Pollard (rest), WR Calvin Ridley (hamstring), DE Jeffery Simmons (hamstring), CB L'Jarius Sneed (quad), LB Jihad Ward (rest), G Kevin Zeitler (rest)
  • Limited Participant — DE Sebastian Joseph-Day (calf), S Xavier Woods (ankle)

Simmons, Ridley, Sneed, Hekker, and Key are all starters, so the Titans could be in a really tough spot, health-wise, come Sunday.

The Colts and Titans face off for the second time this season on Sunday, at 4:25 p.m. E.T., at Lucas Oil Stadium. The game can be viewed on CBS.
