For the third time in the last four years, the Indianapolis Colts are involved in an international matchup.

The NFL announced on Wednesday morning that the Colts will be the visiting team against the Washington Commanders in Week 4 (Oct. 4) in London, England, at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, at 9:30 a.m. ET/2:30 p.m. London time.

The Colts beat the New England Patriots in Frankfurt, Germany, in 2023, 10-6, and beat the Atlanta Falcons in Berlin in 2025, 31-25 (OT). However, the only other time the Colts played in London was in 2016, when they lost to the Jacksonville Jaguars, 30-27.

This is the first known 2026 matchup for the Colts, as the remainder of their schedule will be announced on the team's website and social media channels at 7:30 p.m. ET on Thursday, May 14.

The Colts' other road opponents in 2026 are the Cleveland Browns, Houston Texans, Jacksonville Jaguars, Kansas City Chiefs, Minnesota Vikings, Philadelphia Eagles, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Tennessee Titans.

The Colts' home opponents are the Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, Dallas Cowboys, Texans, Jaguars, Miami Dolphins, New York Giants, and Titans.

Colts vs. Commanders was one of nine international games that the NFL announced, as London joins Melbourne (Australia), Rio De Janeiro (Brazil), Paris (France), Madrid (Spain), Munich (Germany), and Mexico City (Mexico) as host cities.
