INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Stop me if you've heard this before, but Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor has been named the AFC Offensive Player of the Week.

In the Colts' 41-20 win over the Tennessee Titans in Week 3, Taylor was a star once again. He carried the ball 17 times for 102 yards (6.0 avg.) and three touchdowns, and he also caught three of his four targets for 16 yards (5.3 avg.).

The week prior, Taylor had over 200 yards of offense and a touchdown in a 29-28 win over the Denver Broncos.

For the second consecutive week, Taylor has ended the week as the NFL's leading rusher, resulting in back-to-back AFC Offensive Player of the week nods; the first Colts player to ever do it and the first player in the NFL to do it since Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen in Weeks 5-6 in 2022.

Taylor's 338 rushing yards on the season are the most by a Colts player through the first three games of the season since at least 1970.

It was Taylor's third career game with at least three rushing touchdowns, and his first since Week 16 of 2024 (also against the Titans). Sunday was also his 26th career 100-yard rushing game and his first time doing it consecutively since Weeks 17-18 of 2024.

This is the fifth time in his career that Taylor has been named the AFC's Offensive Player of the Week, joining former Colts running back Edgerrin James (six) as the only other Colts non-quarterback to win the award at least five times.

Taylor and the Colts travel to the west coast this Sunday to take on the Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium at 4:05 p.m. E.T on FOX.
