The Indianapolis Colts made a trio of roster moves on Tuesday, signing offensive tackle Luke Tenuta to the 53-man roster from the practice squad, waiving cornerback Jaylon Jones, and replacing Tenuta's practice squad spot by signing free agent tight end Kenny Fletcher Jr.

Tenuta (6'8", 314, 27) was originally selected in the sixth round of the 2022 NFL Draft with the 209th overall pick by the Buffalo Bills. He was waived during preseason roster cuts and then quickly scooped up by the Colts for his first stint with the team. Tenuta was waived by the Colts before being claimed by the Green Bay Packers, where he stayed through the 2023 season. He then found a spot with the Arizona Cardinals in 2024 before signing a new reserve/futures deal with the Colts at the beginning of the 2025 calendar year.

About a week ago, he was released by the Colts and then signed to the practice squad.

Tenuta has been active for seven career games: three for the Packers as a rookie in 2022 and four for the Colts in 2025. He's played 26 career snaps at left tackle, eight at right tackle, and one as the extra blocker. Tenuta has also played 44 career snaps on the field goal kick and block teams.

According to Pro Football Focus, in Tenuta's 28 offensive snaps in 2025, he allowed just one pressure on the quarterback. That was in Week 15 against the eventual Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks, who tied for the seventh-most sacks in the NFL with 47.

While the Colts' starting right guard, Matt Goncalves, may still be considered the frontrunner to be the team's swing tackle, Tenuta is capable of doing it as well.

Jones (6'2", 203, 24) became a surprise starter as a seventh-round rookie with the Colts in 2023 and kept it up in 2024 under former defensive coordinator Gus Bradley, starting 27 games in his first two years.

Last offseason, the Colts parted with Bradley and hired Lou Anarumo, who overhauled the cornerback group again. Jones was hampered by a hamstring injury for much of the summer, and although he made the roster, he reaggravated his hamstring and went on Injured Reserve for a chunk of the season.

When Jones returned, the Colts used him sparingly because the scheme fit in their new defense wasn't (and still isn't) there. Still, in over 2,100 career defensive snaps, Jones has surrendered just 60.1% completions when targeted, according to PFF, and has 17 pass breakups.

Fletcher (6'3", 250, 22) is an undrafted rookie out of Rutgers who was initially signed by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after the draft.

He began his first two years in college in 2022 and 2023 as a defensive end before transitioning to tight end from 2024 to 2025. He recorded 10 tackles (4.0 for loss), 2.5 sacks, and a forced fumble in 24 games on defense, and 46 catches for 373 yards (8.1 avg.) and two touchdowns in 17 games on offense.

This preseason, Fletcher played 32 snaps on offense and nine on special teams for the Buccaneers. His only pass target fell incomplete.
