The Indianapolis Colts go into Sunday's opening-week kickoff against the Baltimore Ravens at Lucas Oil Stadium in good health, listing just one player as questionable.
The Ravens, on the other hand, have a couple of players working their way back from 2025 injuries who are not quite yet ready to return and have been ruled out, while another role player remains questionable.
Here is how both teams' health is shaping up ahead of Sunday afternoon's matchup.
COLTS
- Limited Participant — S A.J. Haulcy (ankle), WR Alec Pierce (heel), TE Drew Ogletree (neck), C Sedrick Van Pran-Granger (illness)
- Full Participant — S A.J. Haulcy (ankle), TE Drew Ogletree (neck), QB Anthony Richardson Sr. (illness), C Sedrick Van Pran-Granger (illness)

FRIDAY
- Full Participant — S A.J. Haulcy (ankle), TE Drew Ogletree (neck), QB Anthony Richardson Sr. (illness), DT Grover Stewart (rest), C Sedrick Van Pran-Granger (illness)
- Limited Participant — WR Alec Pierce (heel), CB Charvarius Ward Sr. (rest)
- Did Not Participate — LB Austin Ajiake (hamstring), DT DeForest Buckner (rest)
QUESTIONABLE — LB Austin Ajiake (hamstring)
It's only Week 1, but the Colts find themselves in much better health than they were at this time last year. With the exception of Ajiake, who popped up on the report on Friday, the Colts are ready to roll.
If Ajiake cannot play, the Colts will need to fill the void on special teams, as he's one of their core players. He may also be slated for a role defensively on certain passing downs.
Otherwise, the Colts are getting several players back who spent much of their time injured in 2025.
Quarterback Daniel Jones, defensive tackle DeForest Buckner, cornerbacks Sauce Gardner Charvarius Ward Sr., Justin Walley, and kicker Spencer Shrader weren't on this week's report with the injuries that plagued them last year, as they've all made full recoveries to this point by the end of training camp.
Pierce has been practicing for a few weeks now after missing the entire offseason from March ankle/heel surgery, but he is ready to go.
“Yeah, a ton," head coach Shane Steichen said when asked about the progress he's seen from Pierce in the last couple of weeks. "He's gotten a ton more reps from a couple weeks ago to now. He’s looking fresh, looking good.”
Whether Pierce will have his involvement limited, Steichen said it will be a "build-up process" and "they'll see how the game goes."
Haulcy missed two straight weeks with his ankle injury before practicing each day this week. Likewise, the Colts traded for Van Pran-Granger over a week ago and he did not practice last week, but he is cleared now after a week of practice.
RAVENS
WEDNESDAY
- Limited Participant — LB Teddye Buchanan (knee), WR Zay Flowers (hamstring)T Nnamdi Madubuike (neck), WR Devontez Walker (groin)
THURSDAY
*The Ravens conducted a walk-through on Thursday. Thursday's practice report is only an estimation of a player's participation if there was a practice.*
- Full Participant — WR Zay Flowers (hamstring)
- Limited Participant — LB Teddye Buchanan (knee), DT Nnamdi Madubuike (neck), WR Devontez Walker (groin)
FRIDAY
- Full Participant — WR Zay Flowers (hamstring)
- Limited Participant — LB Teddye Buchanan (knee), DT Nnamdi Madubuike (neck), WR Devontez Walker (groin)
- Did Not Participate — DL Calais Campbell (rest)
QUESTIONABLE — WR Devontez Walker (groin)
OUT — LB Teddye Buchanan (knee), DT Nnamdi Madubuike (neck)
Madubuike suffered a season-ending neck injury last September in Week 2, and Buchanan tore an ACL in December. It's unsurprising that neither is ready to go yet, but it will be sooner rather than later, as neither began the season on Injured Reserve.
There wasn't much doubt, but Baltimore's top receiver, Flowers, is cleared from the injury report.
The Colts and Ravens face off on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. ET at Lucas Oil Stadium on CBS.
