The Indianapolis Colts face an incredibly difficult matchup this weekend against the league's most aggressive defense, the Minnesota Vikings, and they'll have to do it without arguably their top pass-catcher.

On Friday, tight end Tyler Warren (groin) was one of three injured Colts players ruled out by head coach Shane Steichen, along with top cornerback Sauce Gardner (calf) and return specialist Anthony Gould (concussion).

The Vikings, meanwhile, are coming off their bye and are in optimal health, not having ruled anyone out.

Here is how both teams' health is shaping up ahead of Sunday's matchup.

With Warren out, the Colts still have a stocked cupboard of tight ends to rely on in Mo Alie-Cox, Drew Ogletree, Will Mallory, and Pharaoh Brown. It'll be interesting to see how much of a role Mallory will have as the best pass-catching option, because the Colts will really need good blockers in this one to keep the Vikings' pass rush at bay, which the other three are better suited for.

Last week, when Gardner left the field, Cam Taylor-Britt filled in for him, but now with Walley questionable, Kapena Gushiken could be inserted as well into the nickel, which is manned by Walley.

The Colts get a break at linebacker with starting WILL linebacker Jaylon Carlies returning to the lineup, but with Allen and Boettcher both questionable, this may be a good week to make Germaine Pratt available off the practice squad.

Sanchez wears multiple hats for the Colts' special teams, so his absence would be felt strongly. The Colts signed Thomas Morstead to the practice squad in case Sanchez can't play, but Sanchez was able to return to the field after his injury in last week's game.

In the return game, Gould is out, but they get Dulin back. Gould had been filling in for Dulin the last couple weeks, so this is a one-for-one replacement. Dulin should return to his presence on offense as well, which will give fewer snaps to Laquon Treadwell.

Two weeks ago in Week 5, the Vikings' most recent game, Addison, Darrisaw, and Demmings were all out with injury. Mason has also been on Injured Reserve since after the first game after fracturing his thumb.

The Vikings are in great shape, injury-wise.

The Colts and Vikings face off on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. ET on CBS in Minneapolis at US Bank Stadium.
