On the latest episode of the Locked On Colts podcast on the Locked On Podcast Network, hosts Zach Hicks and Jake Arthur give their final preview of the Indianapolis Colts' matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Among the topics discussed:

The Colts (5-1) have an opportunity to strengthen their hold on the AFC's top seed, as the Chargers (4-2) rank second, just behind them, and the third-seed Pittsburgh Steelers (4-2) lost on Thursday night.

Colts head coach Shane Steichen and quarterback Daniel Jones have a favorable matchup on paper, as LA's defense doesn't use a wide variety of looks defensively, rather relying on a high level of execution. Steichen and Jones have thrived in this situation in 2025.

The real advantage is for Colts running back Jonathan Taylor, however, as the Chargers rank near the bottom of the NFL in multiple categories of run defense, as well as missed tackle rate.

For the Colts' defense, they must get to Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert and bring him down. He is among the best in the NFL at escaping sacks, so the Colts must finish the job when they get to him, which has largely evaded their pass rush this year.

The Colts visit the Chargers at 4:05 p.m. E.T. on Sunday at SoFi Stadium. The game can be viewed on CBS.
